Yes, on Tahiti in Papeete and its suburbs yes – we pay alot for our water on Tahiti

The Resort Hotels will generally tell you not to drink the tap water but on Tahiti they are perhaps being over cautious – the best resort hotels will offer you a bottle of water in your hotel on arrival

Verified A delightful look at part of Tahiti We had a delightful time with Tracy as our guide. The short tour was informative and fun. I would surely like to do the longer version another time. Thank you, Tracy. Gary S2025-05-05Verified East island tour in Tahiti Not just a tour but an insight into life on Tahiti. Thanks Roni on the day and Tracey for prompt pre tour communications. Roni was informative, answering all questions and relaxed , enabling each of his six guests get what they wanted from the tour. Highly recommend Unique tours. Frank H2025-05-01Verified Liquid sunshine + versatile guide = excellent tour Excellent tour, shame about the liquid sunshine. Excellent guide with Tracey, did all that we were supposed to do but because of the rain, Tracey modified the tour to give us a bit more, much appreciated . Ross B2025-04-28Verified A great tour with Tracey We had a great tour with Tracey Thomas. She knew the local fishermen, our boat person, our restauranteur and everyone else. She was charming, helpful and knowledgeable. I loved that she started the tour by asking us about ourselves. As good as Tracey was, perhaps the high point was bobbing amidst the waves (in a small boat Tracey procured) at one of the most famous surf breaks in the world, Teahuppo. Oh - and she made a great restaurant recommendation for that night. Thanks Tracey! jaylawrence12025-04-27Verified Fascinating insight into tahitian lifestyle and history Tracey gave us a real insight into lifestyle and history of Tahitian people along with stops at all the great views along the coast. The black sand beaches are extraordinary; the boys on their boogie boards do so much more with them than Australian boys; the views into the inland are grand and the waterfalls spectacular.Enjoyed the crossover with our aussie history with Captain Cook and the mutiny on the Bounty as Bligh later became governor of NSW.Tracey is wonderful guide. She is English but has lived locally for 20 years. Brilliant choice. Chloris L2025-04-27Verified A beautiful day in Tahiti. It was a beautiful trip. We were picked up on time at the port. The stops were well chosen. There was water for everyone, toilet stops and the island was explained in all details with a lot of dedication. It's as good as it gets. Gudrun S2025-04-26Verified Beautiful Tahiti We had a fantastic experience touring with Tracey around Tahiti! She took us to some beautiful sights, as well as interactions with the local culture. The van is meticulously maintained and she brought water for the group as well. She is a bright spirit who obviously loves the country. Highly recommend! Kirsten2025-04-26Verified Good Service! There was a mixup as to the time of the tour that was not really their fault. This was handled with great courtesy and understanding, respecting a high level of customer service. Dan C2025-04-25Verified Peak into Island life & history, beautiful sights! Beautiful sights,we learned so much about the island life, its history & lore. A truly nice experience, in a comfortable van. Yvonne Y2025-04-24Verified Wonderful and unique Tahiti experience! We had the best day in Tahiti, our guide Tracy was so knowledgeable and informative of the local culture and customs. It was raining and blowing a gale at times, yet we soldered on and got to enjoy the island, and tick off a bucket list with a boat ride out to the famous Teahupo surf break. Thanks Unique for a wonderful experience. We highly recommend - 6 stars! Linda V2025-04-21
